Five logical tiers with explicit failure-domain isolation:

1. Edge / in-situ — STM32L4+ TinyML sensor nodes (LoRaWAN + Iridium SBD)
2. Federated ingestion — pull-based connectors → COG/Zarr/PMTiles in R2 → STAC
3. Processing — atmospheric correction → unmixing → CV/SAR/thermal/LiDAR pipelines
4. Simulation & inference — physics-based snowpack, GLOF, avalanche · NIM Earth-2 · LLM narrator · QAE
5. Presentation — React frontend on Netlify Edge · Docusaurus on GitHub Pages · CAP feed to NDMA/SDMA · FCM push
